AVY!!

Most of you probably won't care about this, but...

OMG, AVY!!! Do you have HBO??? Friday night, they're playing Hellsing, episodes 4-6 on their Ani-Midnight!! Apparently they're featuring it all month. They must have played 1-3 last Friday. Sorry I didn't find out about it in time! :(

I believe there are 12 episodes so far. Volume 4 (episodes 10-12) was just recently released on DVD. It is an wonderful series. I absolutely love it. Alucard is so awesome, as is Seras Victoria. ;)

I actually found the fact that they called her Seras instead of Victoria. If what I assume is right, Seras is her last name, so she should be Victoria Seras in the English version.

Alucard was amazing, though. And Seras seems like she could be a fascinating character. BUt she hasn't done quite enough yet, you know?

I know. She's still in 'training', in the first few episodes. I think I've seen the first 6 episodes so far, and she does play a bigger role as the series progresses. Alucard still remains my fabourite character, though. He's just so cool. ;) Hellsing, herself kept me confused for a while, though. It took me a bit to figure out for sure if she was male or female. LOL

We spent much of the time watching wondering that, actually. So, she is a female? Anime is wierd like that.

Are you into comic books at all? I know a comic that's not to dissimilar... :)

I think it took me about six episodes to realize she was a female. She's very androgynous.

I used to be into comics somewhat. I haven't had time to read too many lately. :(

She is. But that's cool. I'm very into androgyny.

Well, if you ever get a chance, I highly recommend a series called Distant Soil. They're independently made, and they started in the eighties, so it's kind of hard to find, but if you do, it's lots of fun. Psychic abilities and Alien races. Lots of andrygony, too. :)
