Well, the pup is feeling better. Which is more than I can say for me. I still feel so guilty about her getting hurt. But at least she isn't yelping with every step she takes any more. We've been putting antibiotic cream on the sores, and giving her Tylenol for the pain, and that seems to be helping her a lot. Autie accused me of spoiling her yesterday, because when he came home, I had her on my lap with the heating pad on her injured shoulder. What can I say? I can't stand seeing her in so much pain!

I have been pleasantly surprised at the response to the fic I posted for the Winter Challenge. At last count, it had gotten almost 90 views. That's a LOT more than I ever expected, considering I never wrote anything before in my life unless I had to for school or something. I've even had a couple of request to continue the story. I'm seriously considering it, too. (WOW! *surprised at self*) The only thing I've been a bit disappointed in is the people who offered to Beta for me. There was one on the Seekers board who was offering to Beta stories that I emailed, and never even got a reply. I also had two people offer to Beta it, and I sent the story to them (this was, like, Dec 13 or 14 or something like that), and they haven't got back to me YET! *Sigh* Maybe it's just the characters or something, I don't know. I know Hagriid isn't the most popular character, after all, but still, a little consideration for the author WOULD be nice. I don't know. Maybe they just got busy with other things, and it slipped their minds. Who knows? I don't Think it can need that much work Everybody who's commented on it has said how well-written it is. Mandy even suggested I should think about writing a book! (As If!)

Well, those are my thoughts today. Boring, but there you go! That's my life, in a nutshell.
