It took me over a month before I finally found someone to beta for me on my fic, Renewed Beginnings, but I'm glad now that it did! I couldn't ask for a more wonderful beta than Isla! It was pure luck I found her. We were both voting on a DADA Professor Election thread (started by me)over at FictionAlleyPark, when she mentioned needing a beta for her fic. I mentioned needing one, too, we started emailing each other, found out we both liked the same beta style, and the rest, as they say, is history! She is wonderful! She has yet to fail to get a chapter back within 24-48 hours, and, naturally, I try to do the same for her! To make it even better, she is British, so, even though I don't ask her to, she instinctively points out any little Brit-picks for me as she goes. Thanks to her, I have just submitted my third chapter of my fic! It just goes so much faster and easier when you have a great beta, beacause you don't have to worry so much about your mistakes. I simply LOFF her to death! Go read her fics, too! Especially The Redemption of Peter Pettigrew . It is uber-awesome!
